Grant Frey B.S. ’83

Grant Frey B.S. ’83, retired Lieutenant Colonel, United States Marine Corps, and member of the Lewis & Clark Board of Alumni, is carrying his values forward. Voted most valuable player in 1981 for his athletic prowess on the soccer field and inducted into the Pioneer Hall of Fame with the 1980 soccer team, today he is providing financial support for athletics and including Lewis & Clark in his estate plan.

“It’s important to me to demonstrate values such as tradition, service, and commitment. Giving to Lewis & Clark is one way I do that. I support athletics and academics so students will continue benefitting from experiences that meant so much to me—and still do,” says Grant.

By giving to the Annual Fund to support programs for student-athletes, Grant makes a positive impact today. Through a planned gift he will extend his influence and impact well into the future.

Grant’s estate plan provides first and foremost for his family, including son Grant Jr., who graduated from Lewis & Clark in 2011. It also honors institutions that make a difference in his life and the lives of others. He has named Lewis & Clark as a co-beneficiary of a secondary, paid-up life insurance policy.

Like Grant, you can share your legacy in ways that care for your family and benefit our students and faculty. Many options are available. For example, consider naming Lewis & Clark as a beneficiary or co-beneficiary in your will, living trust, retirement plan, or life insurance policy.
